I was suprised by the lack of quality of the parts considering the amount of money it cost. Most of it was plastic. Upon installation, many parts broke.

You get what you pay for! Plastic parts in places where they should be metal, one bad bulb which I had to replace, not covered, flimsy materials. It looks good installed and provides lots of light but had I known so much plastic was involved, I wouldnt have purchased it. It wont last long with all the heat on plastic.

I would like to return this light. We are not able to get it to work with the parts that are not broken. Besides one of the individual lights, several of the plastic connecting parts were broken as well.

I have had many positive comments about the appearance of the lighting. It is a little bit of a hassle for one person to install the track because the joint in the middle requires support on both ends. I also found that the connector that joins the two pieces of track together did not make good contact the the connections on the track. After bending the contacts in the connector to give a tighter fit, that problem went away. Overall though, the appearance of the installed light overcame those minor annoyances, and I have had no problems since then.
