Cable for use with the Tech Lighting Kable Lite System.
- #10 gauge tin-plated copper cable with Kevlar core.
- Rated for 300 watts at 12 volts;600 watts at 24 volts.
- Load: 300 watt maximum at 12 volts to 30’ before voltage drop occurs; 600 watt maximum at 24 volts to 60’ before voltage drop occurs.
- Kable Lite is designed to make straight lines and simple turns. The cables must be placed so that they pass over the locations of all elements used in the system.
- Kable Lite surface transformers and power feed canopies have 24” feeds; Kable Lite run must pass within two feet of the junction box.
- Turnbuckles are a required for a complete Kable Lite system. A pair of turnbuckles on each side of the run is recommended.
- Supports (Standoffs, Riggers) are required for runs over 20 feet long, or with heavier elements (such as glass pendants).
- When determining the length of cable required for a run, multiply the length of the run by two and add an additional 10 percent to feed through turnbuckles. For example, a 20 foot run would require 45 feet of cable.
- Cable is sold by the foot.
