Really happy with these lights. Seem like really nice quality and look great. The beveled edge on the trim is a really nice touch. Hard to believe that a company (JESCO) could manufacture something this nice, while having such a horrible web site and documentation. There were no instructions in the box and the website offers nothing of any use at all. How wide and deep should the hole be? Who knows? Take a look for yourself... I'm embarrassed for them. BUT, at least the lights are nice.
