A Sistemalux strip T5 light in our condominium elevator kept blowing out the fluorescent light each time we installed a new one. I searched the internet for a replacement light receptacle and found that I could not get a price on the replacement. The company that produces this light receptacle is based in Montreal Quebec, Canada and even though there is a subsidiary here in Houston, Texas, they would not give me a price unless I was a professional installer.
I am the president of the condominium and we are a cost conscious board. I found your company produces a similar light and bought it for $44.00 along with a special 2 prong cord ($11.65) to plug into a electrical receptacle and had our maintenance man install in the elevator. We are very satisfied since we already know that to have Otis Elevator install, it would be at least a $100.00 service call and this does not include parts. The items shipped very quickly and in the future, any elevator lights that cause problems will be replaced by your product.
