This is one of 4 undercounter lights in the kitchen of my newly purchased home. These lights are no more than 3.5 years old and a transformer in one had failed. So to match the others, I purchased the light--but am waiting for the others to fail as well. I am used to light fixtures lasting longer and with no mention of a warranty in the information that was sent with the new light--am just waiting to see if its demise was a fluke or its natural life.

My contractor just installed four of these model 10580's and they're great (Dec. 2003).

These lights are perfect. I've yet to replace any bulbs and they're over a year old. One thing; be sure to buy large enough lights for the space. I should have purchased lights twice the size. My mistake. I'll be buying more.

Ordering and delivery from the vendor was fine. However, what I ordered was a replacement fixture for a light that died after less than 3 years use. I have two other such fixtures, one of which only operates intermittently. These are very expensive fixtures for such poor reliability. Installing or removing the glass cover is counter-intuitive. I imagine many covers are broken in the process.
