Verdigris patina was a little greener than I expected, but still looks great in my hallway. I'm a complete novice when it comes to installing lighting or anything electrical, and would have appreciated a bit more detail in the directions, but it still only took me about 20 min to complete the job (including removal of the existing fixture). Quicker delivery than anticipated, and arrived in great shape.

This is a lovely piece. The lead time is considerable but the wait is worth it.The odd thing is this: There is no glass panel on the bottom so if the sconce is place high, it is possible to see the bulb. I think it would be something for the company to consider adding and allow the bottom glass piece to be removable for changing the bulb.

The design is fashioned after a very famous Rennie Mac designed school in Glasgow whose windows this sconce recalls. My parents met at this school in an after-school badminton club! So the sconce which we have in our bathroom now is a beautiful memento of my parents' lives.
