We bought this light as a ceiling fixture for our lodge room, knowing that it wasn't intended as such. With just a little bit of "customization", i.e, a single screw in the one end, it ended up being the perfect light for our room. We love that it holds three hundred-watt bulbs, which is just the right amount of light for our space. And the wood frame blends very nicely with all the wood in our room.

This fixture is extremely well made & looks gorgeous on the dark green wall we hung it on. Our only negative comment is the back piece that attaches to the wall. You need 2 people to hang it because of the way
the pre-drilled holes where done. If slots had been done instead, one person could hang the piece.
