Finish is very nice; these look great with light on or off. I modified lamp base from Candelabra size to typical size and use 2 compact fluorescents on 2 circuits. The lower lamp only has nice floor light effect and the upper lights ceiling well. Both on is quite bright. The cheapest Amber or something paper looks very good. (Don’t modify and use incandescent bulbs as they will get to close to paper!)
Web site listed wrong lamp base but where very helpful in making me happy. If I chosen to, they would have take the product back and refunded all shipping.
