Nice lights, used them in the bedroom and they look very nice. Put out just the right amount of light. Fit closer to the wall than I expected, so that was nice too.

I wasn't so sure about the square pattern on the frosted glass, but it is subtle and cast light beautifully. I was not aware of the pattern when I ordered it, because the pictures did not show the pattern well-or at all.

Overall, this sconces modern design, light output and price are a winner.

One word of warning. When the contractor is cutting the wall for the electrical box, make sure the box width is a narrow one. The rectangular boxes may work better than the round. We used a round box and the sconce was more narrow than the cut out requiring us to patch the drywall around it.

This very modern light is so attractive, it's tough to find 100 watt halos for bedrooms, studios, and dens. With a dimmer switch, it creates variable "mod moods". Installs perfectly for new-construction, but for retro installs, this light is so narrow that the bright blue plastic rim of the round cut-in box (4"diam from rim to rim) actually peeks out about 3/16" on either side of the light's chrome wall base/mount. This happens because, from a side view, the glass shade is 1" away from the wall. Blue cut-in box can be painted to match the wall.
