(4)cord vs. hardwire

I didn't read the description adequately and didn't realize it needed to be hardwired into the wall.  As a result I've had to return it.  However, it is a beautiful lamp and I'm sorry they don't make it with a cord.  Just be aware of this when you order.

	Does this light have a switch on the light or the backplate to turn it on and off? A:After looking into this and reading the description of the item I can tell you that it has a "three-way switch on socket" meaning that there is a twist rocker on the socket itself that would be able to turn the light on and off.
