When illuminated this sconce provides bright and dramatic lighting for our hallway. The translucence of the material allows it to pick up and reflect some of the color from the pale apricot colored wall, making it blend in perfectly. When not lit up, it still looks great. Although a faux alabaster, it looks natural, in keeping with the rest of our interior. I looked at every single sconce, and am happy with this choice.

Initially we were worried because it seemed more black and white than the photograph. The picture led us to believe it would be more amber in color and it is when the light bulbs are in place and it is turned on. It was easy to install and looks lovely in our new family room.
