I specified this fixture for a project and opted for the Compact fluorescent lamp which, as it turns out, protrudes hideously beyond the diffuser. To replace these fixtures requires a costly re-stocking fee since these lamps have quad pin bases, and there is no way to change the style of the bulb. It's too bad that the option for a compact fluorescent is offered with this product.
