this product is junk

Absolutely no quality control. The knob was not properly orientated in the vertical position. The backing plate was beat in to facilitate disfunctional operation of the latch mechanism. Parts were used that were not in tolerance for the applictaion. Just a terrible product. It does look good. It provided me with a few hours of tinkering in order to get it functioning properly. Thank God for the Dremel tool.

This is cheaply made junk... the catch binds when the knob is turned, the finish is marginal, and the one I received had a gouge on the side.
