These 7 Supplies Make Moving Super Easy
Summer may be the best time to move, but it can still be a drag if you don’t plan ahead by stocking up on the right moving supplies.</br></br>If you’re moving, this is your chance to get ahead of the curve. Use this moving supplies checklist to make sure you’re ready when the truck shows up.</br></br><strong>1. Hand Trucks / Carts</strong></br></br>Save time and your back muscles by buying or <a title="Hand Trucks" href="http://www.atgstores.com/tools/material-handling/hand-trucks/" target="_blank">renting a hand truck</a> for moving boxes. Moving is expensive and you’re not going to want to kick in the extra $10 for a rental, but it’s totally worth it if you don’t have access to one.</br></br><strong>2. Packing Tape</strong></br></br>There are plenty of suitable substitutes for packing tape, but Scotch tape is not one of them. Keep in mind, though, that your dishes and glassware will need a good scrubbing to remove the ink once you unpack it.</br></br><strong>6. Old Towels / Blankets</strong></br></br>These will serve you well when you need to add an extra layer of protection around mirrors, glass tabletops and other large breakables.</br></br>You’ll probably be tempted to skip this step with promises of the strength of tempered glass, but don’t be fooled – the extra five minutes it takes is worth the hour in cleanup it’ll save if something shatters.</br></br><strong>7.
